GuitarSlam goes to great lengths to get the coolest, rarest, most amazing sounding and playing guitars anywhere. To do that, we sometimes will pay a premium to get the RIGHT guitar. Because of the scarcity of these guitars, whether it is a vintage, luthier built or a limited production guitar, replacing the guitar is difficult. We will always be fair in our pricing, but we cannot discount the way same major guitar chains that sell all the same, new, mass produced guitars do. But be assured: we always try to have some special guitars at amazing prices, because we love bargains too!

GuitarSlam is happy to order guitars from our luthiers to meet your specific needs and build your dream guitar. Special orders require a 50% deposit at time of ordering and 50% upon delivery. We can hold a guitar that has been special ordered for 90 days afterwe receive the completed order, but the guitar will go up for sale after that period. Should the special order be sold, the customer who originally ordered the guitar will be refunded their deposit less a 10% handling charge. GuitarSlam makes no representations as to the time it will take to deliver your guitar, but we will make very effort to keep you informed.

We want to encourage our patrons to trade up the guitars they purchase from us, towards their next dream guitar. To that end, GuitarSlam is happy to offer a 100% upgrade policy towards any guitar that is 20% greater in price than what you paid for the one you are returning. Please understand that we cannot accept your guitar for the full upgrade value if you have damaged or modified your guitar, but we will always try to help. This upgrade policy does not apply to special orders unless noted at the time the order is placed. Therefore please clarify with us at the time of your order if your guitar will qualify. Guitars that have been personalized or built to extremely unique specifications may be ideal for you but are difficult to resell, and therefore cannot qualify for our trade-up policy. However, traditional guitars ordered will generally qualify for this trade-up policy.

Need to return it?

On-line: You may return the guitar within 72 hours, in the same condition as sold, for a full refund or exchange, excluding shipping charges. After 72 hours, see exchange policy only. All returns are sent insured shipping paid by you unless otherwise noted. No refunds on special orders.

On-premises: Full refund for guitars (except special orders) in same condition as sold, up to 72 hours after purchase, unless other arrangements are made in advance. If you are buying a gift or need a special accommodation, please let us know and we will make every effort to work with you.
